Sizing & Measurement Guide
Handmade leather fits a little differently than off-the-rack. Here's how to get it right the first time. For a full chart with body measurements by size, and step-by-step instructions for measuring yourself at home, see our complete Sizing & Measurement Guide in our Etsy shop.
How to Measure Yourself
- Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms, keeping the tape level.
- Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, where you'd wear a belt.
- Shoulder width: Measure across the back, from the edge of one shoulder to the other.
- Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder edge to the wrist with your arm slightly bent.
Fit Tips
- Leather jackets are traditionally worn close-fitting — if you plan to layer a sweater underneath, size up.
- Genuine leather stretches slightly with wear, especially across the shoulders and under the arms.
- Between two sizes? We generally recommend sizing down for jackets meant to be worn fitted, and up for a relaxed, layered look.
